Powerwinch Select 2,500 lb Weld-On Flat Plate Jack

The Powerwinch Select 2,500 lb Weld-On Flat Plate Jack is part of Powerwinch's Select Series, built for dependable lifting with simple operation. It is rated for 2,500 lb and has a carbon black powder-coated finish. Powder coating protects the steel better than a basic zinc plating and keeps the jack looking good, which suits trailers used in fresh water.

The weld-on mount is welded directly to the trailer tongue for a permanent, rattle-free attachment. It is the common choice on new trailer builds and for owners who want the jack to stay put for good. The flat plate foot sits square on the ground and stays put once the trailer is parked. It does not roll, so it suits trailers that are stored in one spot or need a stable footing on soft ground. A pivot pin sleeve keeps the swivel action smooth and reliable when you flip the jack up for travel. An oversized, textured handle is comfortable to crank and easy to grip with wet hands.

A jack's rating applies to tongue weight, which on most boat trailers is roughly 5 to 10 percent of the loaded trailer, so a 2,500 lb jack covers loaded trailers up to roughly 25,000 lb. Check the tongue weight of your loaded trailer with a tongue scale or bathroom scale method before choosing a size. Other sizes, mounts and wheel styles are in our trailer jacks section.
