The Pacer White 2 AWG Battery Cable is a 50-foot spool of Type III finely stranded tinned copper, made in the USA.
White at 2 AWG is the AC neutral color, and 50 feet is the length a single heavy AC run needs. That means a substantial shore service or generator feed, where the neutral has to match the hot conductor in size. It is not a DC cable, whatever the gauge might suggest.
Using it on a DC circuit because it was the spool in stock leaves a conductor that reads as AC neutral to every future technician. Insulation color is the only identification available once a cable is behind a bulkhead, and gauge does not change what a color means.
