Description

The Pacer 14/3 AWG Triplex Cable is a 250-foot spool with black, green and white conductors in one jacket.

Fourteen gauge triplex is the standard AC branch circuit cable, keeping hot, neutral and grounding conductors together as one run. Two hundred and fifty feet suits a boat with several AC circuits going in rather than one addition, which is the usual case in a cabin refit.

It is the minimum sensible size for an AC branch circuit, and the small saving from going lighter is not worth the consequence. Sixteen gauge triplex exists for control circuits, not for outlets or appliances.

Finely stranded tinned copper gives corrosion resistance and the flexibility to route through enclosed marine spaces. PVC insulation and jacket resist moisture and fatigue, and the extrusion process reduces the voids where moisture could collect and travel along the cable. Explore more duplex and triplex cable.

  • 14/3 is the standard AC branch circuit cable
  • Minimum sensible size for outlets and appliances
  • 16 gauge triplex is for control circuits only
  • 250 feet suits several circuits in a refit
