Otis 5.56mm AR-15 Star Chamber Cleaning Tool

The Otis Star Chamber Cleaning Tool FG-2715 is made for the recessed chamber area of 5.56mm AR-15 rifles. A parkerized steel scraper loosens stubborn fouling, while replaceable felt cleaning pads reach the star-chamber surfaces that can be awkward to wipe by hand. The coated brass nose helps center the tool during cleaning.

Otis uses standard 8-32 threads so the tool can integrate with compatible cleaning components rather than requiring an entirely separate handle system. The combination of scraping and wiping lets the user tackle both hardened residue and the finer debris left behind afterward. That two-step approach is especially useful in the locking-lug recesses around the chamber.

This tool is a focused addition for AR owners who already have a bore-cleaning setup but want better access to the chamber area. It is sized for 5.56mm/AR-15 use, so it should be matched to the correct platform. See more gun cleaning & maintenance products for brushes, rods, patches, and complete cleaning kits.
