Description
The Novelty Cutlery Buffalo Folder has a 1-inch mirror finish stainless blade in a nickel silver handle cast in the shape of a buffalo, with a lanyard hole, closing to 1.88 inches.
At 1.88 inches closed this is among the smallest folding knives made, closer to a charm than a tool, and the buffalo shape is the whole reason it exists. Novelty Cutlery has made figural pocketknives since the 1930s, when knives shaped like animals and bottles were common souvenirs and advertising giveaways.
Nickel silver is a copper alloy rather than actual silver, chosen because it casts fine detail crisply and resists tarnish better than brass. The 1-inch blade opens envelopes and cuts thread, and does not pretend to more. Explore more Folding Knives.
