Mustang Industrial Orange Mesh Vest, 4XL/5XL

Properly sized work vests get hard to find above 3XL, and the Mustang Survival MV1254 T1 in 4XL/5XL fills that gap. It's a USCG-approved Type III flotation vest, certified to UL 1123 for marine buoyant devices under USCG 160.064, in high-visibility orange. This 4XL/5XL size fits a 58 to 64 inch chest and is rated for wearers 90 lb and over. Side adjustments give it dual sizing, so one vest covers both sizes on the label. It's sold individually, which makes it easy to outfit a crew one person at a time.

Mustang built this vest around comfort and mobility for people who wear flotation all day on the job. The shoulders are open mesh, so heat escapes instead of building up under the vest on hot decks and docks. The armholes are cut large, which leaves room to lift, haul line, climb ladders and reach overhead without the vest binding. That combination of cooling and freedom of movement is what keeps workers wearing their PFD instead of taking it off.

Visibility comes from 32 square inches of SOLAS reflective tape across the front and back, which lights up in a searchlight or headlamp. Mustang also strength tests the MV1254 T1 to 50 mph, a figure most work vests don't publish. Two large front pockets close with Velcro, so gloves, a knife or small tools stay put while you work.
