The Morakniv Basic 511 has a 3.5-inch satin carbon steel clip point blade at 8.13 inches overall, a pink polypropylene handle and a matching pink molded plastic belt sheath. Made in Sweden.
Matching the sheath to the handle is unusual in the Basic range, where most versions pair a colored handle with a black or gray sheath. Here both are pink, so the whole package reads as one object. That makes it the easiest of the Basics to find, whether in a drawer, a toolbag or on the ground.
Carbon steel takes a keener edge than stainless and comes back on a stone faster, at the cost of darkening with use and needing to be dried after use.
