Description
The charcoal Megaware KeelGuard is a 4 ft keel protector in a dark gray that suits darker hulls and bottom paint. It is listed for boats up to about 14 ft. Dark colors also hide scuffs from the ramp better than light ones.
KeelGuard protects the gelcoat on the keel from beaching, sand, rocks, oyster beds, and concrete ramps. Its patented construction combines a pliable blend of polymers and urethanes with 3M acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive. The strip flexes with the hull while resisting abrasion.
Prepare the surface carefully and align the strip before pressing it in place for a durable bond. The protector is 5 in wide and made in the USA. Browse more Keel Protectors for other colors and lengths.
