The Mate Series rod and cup holder is a stainless gunwale fitting that holds either a rod or a drink. The straight-up tube works well for storing rods or holding a drink upright. The oval top gives it a clean, finished look on the gunwale.

A drain fitting lets you plumb a hose to carry water away. That keeps water from dripping into the hull below the gunwale. Run the drain hose to a scupper or overboard fitting.

Stainless resists corrosion and keeps its shine in salt water. Measure the space under your gunwale before cutting the hole. Rinse it with fresh water after saltwater trips. Compare it with the rest of our rod holders.
