Marinco 3-Inch Day/Night Solar Vent - Stainless

The Marinco 3-Inch Day/Night Solar Vent - Stainless is a solar-powered cabin ventilation system built to circulate fresh air without requiring connection to the boat’s wiring. A rechargeable NiMH battery stores solar energy so the fan can continue operating after sunlight fades, supporting around-the-clock ventilation on a full charge.

The Day/Night design includes an on/off fan switch, LED lighting, and selectable intake or exhaust operation accessible from inside the cabin. The vent threads into its included deck plate and can be removed from outside without tools. The 3-inch model gives the same Day/Night operating concept in a smaller installation format; the 1,000-cubic-foot-per-hour rating in the source applies specifically to the 4-inch model.

A complete air and green-water shutoff can be operated from below when conditions require sealing the opening. The package includes a white plastic interior trim ring, insect screen, mounting hardware, and installation instructions. Verify deck thickness, cutout size, sealing method, and drainage before installation to maintain a watertight deck penetration.
