Maretron High-Temperature Smoke Heat Detector Kit

The Maretron High-Temperature Smoke/Heat Detector Kit alerts you to smoke or unusually fast temperature rises in hot spaces like engine rooms. It includes a smoke/heat detector, an auxiliary relay and a sounder. All components are rated from -25 to 70 degrees C (-13 to 158 degrees F).

It connects to the NMEA 2000 network through a Maretron SIM100 Switch Indicator Module, sold separately. Alarms can then appear on displays throughout the boat. That gives early warning of an engine room fire wherever you are aboard.

The system is designed for a 24 volt DC power supply. Plan for that when installing on a 12 volt boat. Check the available mounting space and surrounding hardware before installation so a correct part number does not turn into a clearance problem. Browse more marine networking.
