The Magpul PC Backpacker Stock in FDE turns the Ruger PC Carbine into a compact takedown package in a tan color. It fits PC Carbines chambered in 9mm and .40 S&W. FDE pairs well with tan optics and backpacks. The stock is reinforced polymer. It is built around Ruger's existing takedown system, so the carbine still splits apart with the factory takedown latch.
The PC Carbine already breaks down into two halves, and this stock locks the barrel half to the stock half so they travel as one piece. That makes it easy to slide the carbine into a backpack, under a vehicle seat, or into a small case. A watertight compartment in the stock keeps small items such as a spare battery, earplugs, or a small first aid item dry. It is a good fit for a vehicle or camp carbine that needs to stay compact.
A built-in magazine compartment holds one spare magazine, up to a PMAG 21 GL9. M-LOK slots on the forend take a light, and QD sling mounts let you carry the carbine on a sling. Swap the cheek riser to match your optic height. Chassis-model and tubular-handguard PC Carbines need a standard takedown block installed first. The rubber butt pad grips your shoulder. Function check the carbine after assembly before you rely on it. Choose the cheek riser height that puts your eye in line with your red dot or iron sights before you head out.
