The Magpul Bipod for Sling Stud QD in Flat Dark Earth brings Magpul's full-featured bipod to rifles with a front sling stud, in a tan finish. FDE suits hunting rifles with tan, brown, or camo stocks. Since it clamps to the stud, the bipod comes off quickly when you want the rifle lighter.
Unlike the lighter MOE bipods, this model has 50 degrees of tilt, which keeps the crosshairs level on uneven ground. Its legs spring-load forward for storage and snap down with one hand, then adjust from 6.8 to 10.3 inches. The staggered rubber feet accept most Atlas-pattern replacements except the 5-H style.
A sling stud on the bipod lets you keep the sling on the rifle while it is mounted. Folded size is just under 2.3 inches deep and 3.3 inches wide. Tan bipods and other rifle rests are in our shooting supports.
