Magpul AR-15 Black B.A.D. Bolt Catch Lever

The Magpul B.A.D. Lever is a bolt catch extension for AR-15 rifles. B.A.D. stands for Battery Assist Device. It attaches to the existing bolt catch and extends it to the right side of the receiver. Because it uses the factory bolt catch as its base, the lever adds reach without replacing the complete bolt-catch assembly.

A right-handed shooter can lock the bolt open or drop it with the trigger finger. The firing hand stays on the grip. That speeds up reloads and malfunction clearing.

It installs on the factory bolt catch without replacing the whole part. Check that your lower uses a standard bolt catch. Compare the listed compatibility with the firearm in hand, since similar-looking components can differ by platform or generation. Browse more gun parts and accessories.
