Choose 3x for a wide field of view and quick transitions, or 5x for more detail at longer range. Switch-to-side mounts let you flip the magnifier out of the way when you want to use the red dot alone. Check the height of the mount against your sight so the two line up.
You will find EOTECH G33 and G43 3x magnifiers, the G45 5x magnifier, and compact models in black and tan. Some come with a switch-to-side mount and others as a no-mount unit for use with your own mount. The Trijicon MRO HD 3x magnifier includes a flip-to-side mount.
