Lopolight 225° Silver Vertical Masthead Light

The Lopolight 225° masthead light uses a precision optical system to produce its specified navigation arc from a compact LED fixture. Two LEDs work with a specially designed PMMA light guide to create the required output. The light is intended for vessels under 12 m and provides more than 2 nautical miles of visibility with intensity above 5.4 candela.

The housing is precision machined from 6082 aluminum and finished with an anodized surface to protect the electronics and LED assembly. Lopolight fills the interior with a specialized potting resin to improve resistance to water and vibration. The fixture is designed for vertical mounting and operates across an ambient temperature range of -25°C to 55°C.

Production is carried out under a quality-management system surveyed by Lloyds Register Quality Assurance. The light is manufactured to meet standards including COLREG72, EN14744, IEC 60945, and USCG UL1104. Each unit receives at least 16 hours of final continuous-operation testing, bringing total factory test time beyond 24 hours.
