Description
The Lew's KVD baitcaster is a high-speed reel with a left-hand retrieve. It picks up about 35 in of line per handle turn, so you can burn baits back and catch up to fish fast. It has 9 bearings plus a Zero Reverse one-way clutch bearing.
A one-piece aluminum frame with graphite sideplates keeps it rigid and light. The anodized aluminum 34 mm U-shaped spool holds about 120 yd of 12 lb mono or 120 yd of 50 lb braid. A multi-setting brake helps control backlash with different lures.
A 95 mm bowed carbon fiber handle with EVA knobs gives good leverage. The carbon fiber drag stays smooth, and a zirconia line guide handles braid well. Speed Keeper, Speed Dial, Speed Lube and an external lube port make maintenance easy. Find more choices in our fishing reels.
