Each tab uses an extremely strong "no-break" polypropylene hinge, tested over 300,000 cycles to a 90° bend without failure, and the precision-engineered actuator delivers quiet, non-hydraulic, maintenance-free operation with no oil to leak and nothing to install inside the boat. Lectrotab's flat rocker switch has improved sealing against water entry and a recessed design to prevent breaking, with an "instant stop" circuit that engages the moment the switch is released to prevent actuator over-run.
