The Kershaw RJ Tactical is a collaboration with custom knifemaker RJ Martin, a 3-inch black oxide 8Cr13MoV drop point blade set in an all-black Glass-Reinforced nylon handle for a purpose-built tactical EDC look.

The black oxide finish coats the blade in a low-glare, corrosion-resistant layer that hides scuffs and fingerprints noticeably better than a bright polish, keeping the knife looking sharp through daily carry rather than showing every mark. 8Cr13MoV is a solid mid-tier steel, holding a working edge longer than entry-level alloys while still being straightforward to resharpen with basic equipment at home. The all-black GRN handle keeps the knife's weight down without sacrificing grip, since the textured nylon surface stays secure even when hands are sweaty or gloved. An extended-tang opener pairs with a liner lock for fast, one-handed deployment and dependable lockup, and a lanyard hole gives the option to add a cord or fob.
