Kershaw Ion 4.5 in BlackWash 3-Piece Throwing Knife Set

The Kershaw Ion is sold here as a three-piece throwing-knife set rather than a single everyday-carry folder. Each knife uses a 4.5 in 3Cr13 stainless steel blade with a BlackWash finish. The matching black appearance gives the set a consistent look across all three pieces.

Because these are fixed blades, there is no pivot, pocket clip, or folding lock to evaluate. The 4.5 in blade length places them in the 4-to-under-5-in range, which gives the set more blade length than the compact fixed blades elsewhere in the batch. The plain-edge configuration also keeps the edge style consistent from one knife to the next.

This set belongs with tactical fixed blades because its format and three-piece presentation are very different from a standard pocket knife. Buyers should note that the listing is for three matching knives, not one blade. For more choices related to the Ion 4.5 in, browse tactical fixed blade knives.
