Kershaw Interstellar 2.7 in BlackWash Manual OTF Knife

The Kershaw Interstellar takes a different approach from a conventional pivoting folder. It uses a 2.7 in 8Cr13MoV blade with a black stonewashed finish and a partially serrated edge. A black GRN handle keeps the overall look dark while giving the knife a lightweight synthetic handle material.

This model opens manually and is listed as a manual out-the-front design, so the operating motion is part of what separates it from standard Kershaw folders. The combination edge gives the blade both a plain section and serrations instead of committing to only one edge style. At 2.7 in, the blade remains below the 3 in mark even though the design has a more specialized opening format.

The Interstellar is a better fit for someone specifically looking for a compact manual OTF than for a buyer who simply wants a familiar linerlock or framelock. Its blade steel, edge style, and opening method are all worth comparing before ordering. For more choices related to the Interstellar 2.7 in, browse folding knives.
