The Johnson Pump 4000 Series Heavy Duty Bilge Pump is built for high performance under commercial and recreational demands that would wear out a lighter-duty pump fast, with a liquid-cooled, 12-pole motor and double ball bearings for extended service life.

A mechanical seal design keeps water out of the motor compartment, and a carefully engineered impeller is tested to maximize both head and flow rather than sacrificing one for the other.
