i2Systems Apeiron PRO A503 3W Nickel Neutral White Light

The i2Systems Apeiron PRO A503 is a 3W three-color downlight with a nickel bezel in neutral white, dimming to 1% intensity.

Neutral white sits between the warm and cool options, and it is the safest choice where a space serves more than one purpose. Warm suits a saloon and cool suits a galley, but a boat with an open plan lit by one set of fixtures does better with neutral than with either extreme.

Three watts is the smaller PRO fixture against the 6W versions, for closer spacing or lower deckheads. A 6W light in a small cabin is more than the space needs, and spacing fixtures for their output rather than fitting the largest available gives a more even result.

This is the three-color version, selecting and dimming white, red or a third color from the dimmer switch.
