Hornady Alpha Elite Keyed Handgun Lock Box

Hornady Alpha Elite Keyed Handgun Lock Box is a reinforced portable steel box for securing a handgun or other compact valuables. Hornady builds the housing from 16-gauge steel and adds a pry-resistant security band around the enclosure. A barrel-style key lock controls access without relying on batteries or an electronic keypad.

The Alpha Elite uses a dual crossbar latch mechanism that engages the lid at more than one point rather than depending on a single simple catch. The supplier-listed package also includes a security cable so the lock box can be tethered when a fixed anchor point is available. Its black finish keeps the portable box visually unobtrusive in a vehicle, room, or travel setup.

This model makes sense for users who prefer a mechanical lock but want a more reinforced enclosure than a basic lightweight lock box. The cable, crossbar latch, and pry-resistant band work together as parts of the storage system while the keyed design keeps operation straightforward.
