Hornady Lock-N-Load Reloading Powder Measure

Hornady Lock-N-Load Reloading Powder Measure is a bench-mounted volumetric measure designed to cover a broad range of powder-charge sizes. With the appropriate rotor and insert, Hornady rates the system for charges from 0.5 grain up to 265 grains. The standard package includes the rifle rotor and metering insert, while pistol rotor components are available separately.

Lock-N-Load metering inserts can be removed and exchanged with the push of a button, allowing established charge settings to be changed without dedicating a separate powder measure to every load. The measure can be mounted with a conventional bench bracket and lock ring or integrated with compatible Hornady Lock-N-Load mounting hardware. Two drop tubes are included with the supplier-listed configuration.

This measure is useful on a bench that handles cartridges with very different powder requirements because the rotor-and-insert system lets one body serve multiple charge ranges. As with any powder measure, a separate scale should be used to verify the thrown charge whenever a load is set up or changed.
