Description
The HawkEye FishTrax 1C is a handheld fish finder that shows fish depth, water temperature and bottom contour. Use it on a motorboat, a kayak or through the ice in winter. The housing is waterproof, and a polarized LCD cuts glare in bright sun.
Automatic mode gets you fishing fast, and manual mode lets you dial in precise readings. Ice Mode turns it into a digital flasher so you can watch your jig and fish at depth. A VariableZone temperature sensor reads temperature through the water column to help you find where fish are holding.
It reads from 1.5 to 240 ft with a dual 200/83 kHz transducer at 14 and 26 degrees on a 15 ft cable. Programmable alarms alert you to fish or a set depth, and it runs on four AAA batteries. The unit measures 6 x 3 x 2 in and fits in a jacket pocket. Compare it with the rest of our fish finder units.
