GROCO 1.5-Inch Stainless Hose Barb Thru-Hull Fitting

The GROCO HTH-1500-S hose-barb thru-hull combines the hull penetration and hose connection in one compact fitting. The threaded body secures through the mounting surface, while the hose end provides a dedicated clamping area for the connected line. It is a straightforward choice for drains and other marine plumbing runs where the hose can approach the fitting without a sharp turn. That direct arrangement reduces the number of adapters needed when a flexible hose will connect immediately inside the hull.

The HTH-1500-S's NPS-threaded hull section is paired with the formed hose connection, keeping the assembly simpler than a separate thru-hull and barb adapter. Correct hose sizing remains important so the clamp can secure the line without deforming or overstressing the hose. The HTH-1500-S uses 316 stainless steel and carries a UL 647B listing for marine use. The one-piece layout also removes an extra threaded joint that could otherwise require sealing and later inspection.

• Reduces the need for an additional hose adapter
• UL 647B listed for marine installation
• NPS threaded hull section
• One-piece thru-hull and hose-barb connection

Fit the HTH-1500-S through a properly prepared opening and use bedding compatible with the hull and fitting materials. Route the hose with enough slack for service but without a sag or bend that places continuous load on the barb. Use suitable marine hose clamps and inspect the connection after commissioning, particularly if the fitting is near or below the waterline.
