GROCO ARG-753 for ARG-750 Replacement Sight Glass

The GROCO ARG-753 is a replacement sight glass made for the ARG-750 raw-water strainer. It restores the clear inspection section of the strainer when the existing glass is damaged, clouded, or no longer suitable for dependable service. For owners maintaining an existing ARG-750 installation, it is a focused service part rather than a universal strainer component. Using the specified replacement part keeps the strainer easier to inspect without changing the surrounding intake plumbing.

With the ARG-753, a clear sight glass is useful because basket condition and debris buildup can be checked before the strainer is opened. During reassembly, the sealing surfaces and related O-rings should be inspected so the renewed viewing section can seal correctly. The ARG-753 is sized for its listed GROCO application, so compatibility should be confirmed by strainer model before the old component is removed. Replacing only the serviceable sight-glass section can keep an otherwise sound strainer in use and avoid disturbing fittings that do not need replacement.

• Restores clear visual inspection of the strainer basket
• Direct replacement sight glass for ARG-750
• Suitable for routine strainer service and repair
• Model-specific fit for GROCO raw-water strainers

Before installation, isolate the intake circuit and relieve any water pressure at the strainer. Clean the mating surfaces, inspect the seals, and tighten the assembly evenly rather than using the sight glass as a leverage point. Once the intake is reopened, check the repaired strainer carefully for seepage before relying on it underway.
