Green Wood 7956 Cat Stainless Steel Skinner Knife

The Green Wood 7956 Cat Stainless Steel Skinner Knife from Rite Edge is a fixed blade, a polished 3.875-inch stainless skinner blade with full tang construction, set in a green wood handle and shipped with a leather sheath.

Full tang construction runs the steel the entire length of the handle, so the knife holds up to hard field use instead of flexing or loosening at the handle the way a partial-tang blade can. The skinner shape gives the edge a broad, curved sweep built for skinning and general field dressing, and the green wood handle stands out visually while staying comfortable to hold through a long session of work.

Rite Edge built this piece as an affordable, no-nonsense fixed blade for hunters and anyone who needs a dependable field knife. The included sheath means it's ready to carry the moment it arrives. Explore more Hunting Knives. Explore more fixed blade knives.

• Skinner blade shape suits skinning and field dressing work
• Full tang construction holds up to hard field use
• Green wood handle gives it a distinctive look
• Ships with a leather sheath

Hunters who process their own game tend to keep a dedicated skinner like this one on hand rather than relying on a general-purpose blade for the whole job. The leather sheath that ships with it means there's no need to track down a separate one before the knife sees any actual use. A stainless blade like this one also makes cleanup easier after a session in the field, since it won't develop rust spots the way a carbon steel blade can if left damp.
