The Fortress Guardian G-23 draws on years of Fortress R&D, delivering genuine quality and performance at a real value. It's built from the same alloy as the rest of the Fortress lineup, a high-tensile aluminum magnesium blend that resists corrosion, coming out stronger and lighter than any comparable steel anchor.
Guardian skips several Fortress machining steps and extras like anodizing and adjustable fluke angles, running a single fixed 32-degree angle that works for most common bottoms. What you end up with is a high-performance anchor tuned for a fast set and firm hold, priced well below what a heavy, rust-prone steel anchor would cost.
As strong as steel at half the weight, Guardian ranks second only to the Fortress FX line in holding power tests, making it a solid spare or storm anchor for any boat or yacht. Made in the USA.
