Fortress FX-11 Original Replacement Anchor Shank

The Fortress FX-11 Original Replacement Shank is the factory shank for the FX-11 anchor, for red logo anchors from 2006 onward.

The red logo restriction matters. Fortress changed the shank design in 2006, and this part will not fit an older anchor regardless of the model number matching. Checking the logo color before ordering is the whole difference between a part that fits and one that does not.

The shank is the arm running from the crown to the shackle point, and it takes the entire load when an anchor sets. It is also what bends if a boat swings hard against a snagged fluke.
