The Fenix TK28R 6500-Lumen Tactical Rechargeable Light puts out up to 6,500 lumens with a beam that reaches about 400 m. It also has a 635 nm red light for preserving night vision while you read maps or move around camp. Ten lighting modes cover everything from a quick burst to up to 102 hours on the lowest setting.
A dual tail switch gives you tactical and functional control, and a toggle switch picks white light, red light or lockout. A memory circuit brings back the last output you used. The flat aluminum body is IP68 rated and has a hard-anodized finish.
Two included ARB-L18-4000 18650 batteries power the light. The USB-C port has a sliding cover and charges in under 1.5 hours with a 9V/3A adapter, or about 3 hours at 5V. It is 5.82 in long, weighs about 12.6 oz and comes with a lanyard, spare O-ring and titanium-plated clip. Other high-output lights are in our handheld flashlights section.
