Twenty-one thousand lumens is an extraordinary figure for a handheld, several times what most people would call a bright flashlight, and it exists for search and rescue rather than general use. At that output heat is the limiting factor, so the light steps down rather than sustaining full brightness indefinitely.
A single high-capacity ARB-L56-4000 cell powers it, included rather than sold separately, and it charges over USB-C.
