Faria Beede Platinum Water Temperature Gauge

The Faria Beede Platinum 2-Inch Water Temperature Gauge reads 100 to 250°F, built with the Platinum line's spun aluminum dial, custom graphics, and polished stainless steel bezel for a elevated, rugged look. Every Platinum gauge runs Faria's domed, fog-resistant glass lens, noticeably better at shedding condensation and resisting scratches than a standard flat cover.

This gauge tracks temperature electrically: a variable-resistance sender mounted at the engine changes its resistance as temperature rises and falls, which in turn changes how much current reaches the gauge's meter, and the needle moves to reflect that shift in real time. It's a reliable, purely electrical way to keep tabs on engine temperature without running mechanical linkages through the hull.
