Description

The Elk Ridge Rainbow has a 2.75-inch spectrum finish 440 stainless blade, a black aluminum handle, a thumb stud, a lanyard hole and a pocket clip, closing to 3.5 inches.

The spectrum finish is a thin oxide layer grown on the steel, and it refracts light into shifting blues, purples and golds rather than sitting on the surface as pigment. The color changes with the viewing angle and cannot chip off. Against a plain black aluminum handle the blade does all the work visually, which is the point of the knife.
