This is the piling version rather than the post version, with a curved profile shaped to fit round pilings instead of square posts. That distinction is worth checking before ordering, since a post bumper's extended legs will not sit flat against a round piling and a piling bumper will not wrap a square post properly.

Integral strengthening ribs run through the section, which stops the PVC flexing and cracking under repeated hull contact.
