DiTEC 50ml PROTEC1 Ceramic Alternative Paint Protectant

The 50 ml size of DiTEC PROTEC1 is sized for boats around 15 to 20 ft, so it is the right amount for smaller hulls or for testing the product first. PROTEC1 is a one-step, SiO2-free resin coating that flexes with the finish underneath. It protects paint, gelcoat, metal, and non-skid.

Unlike a rigid ceramic, the flexible resin moves with the surface rather than cracking. It adds gloss and a hydrophobic layer that sheds water, dirt, and exhaust film. DiTEC rates it for up to one year on paint or gelcoat, longer with periodic PROTEC Quick Coating maintenance.

Non-skid uses more product because of its texture, so plan for that on decks. Prepare the surface thoroughly and follow DiTEC's spreading and curing directions. Browse more Waxes, Sealants & Coatings for the 100 ml size and other coatings.
