In conjunction with the USCG Automatic Identification System requirements for commercial vessels, this Digital Antenna created a series of 4-foot AIS antennas. They meet the exacting AIS frequency requirements set by those regulations.
It's designed with a low 1.5:1.0 SWR ratio from 159-162 MHz. That gives 4.5dB gain and unsurpassed durability compatible with all AIS transponders.
