Crimson Trace LG-489 Laserguard for S&W Shield

The Crimson Trace LG-489 Laserguard for S&W Shield is a model-specific trigger-guard-mounted integrated aiming laser for the S&W Shield. The close-fitting housing positions the laser below the barrel and installs directly on the compatible handgun without permanent modification. When comparing Laserguard models, firearm fit, laser color, control placement, and battery access are the most important differences to check.

The laser can be adjusted for windage and elevation after installation, and the model-specific shape keeps the unit compact around the front of the trigger guard. Activation is positioned for natural access as the handgun is brought into a normal firing grip. This version is intended for the handgun family named above, so compatibility should take priority over similarity in frame size or appearance. Those selection points apply specifically to the Crimson Trace LG-489 Laserguard for S&W Shield, which may differ from nearby variants in size, fit, finish, or compatibility.

Because this laser is model-specific, the exact handgun compatibility in the product name should be confirmed before ordering. The close-fitting trigger-guard installation keeps the aiming unit integrated with the pistol instead of adding a separate rail-mounted module. The Crimson Trace LG-489 Laserguard for S&W Shield should therefore be matched by its exact listed configuration rather than assumed to be interchangeable with a similar model.
