The Cold Steel Mini Tuff Lite has a 2-inch satin AUS-8 stainless blade, a red Griv-Ex handle, a thumb pull, a lanyard hole and a pocket clip, closing to 3 inches, held by the Tri-Ad lock.

The Tri-Ad lock is Cold Steel's own, adding a stop pin between the blade tang and the locking bar. The pin absorbs impact so the lock face is not battered, and Tri-Ad knives survive strength tests that break other locks. Putting that mechanism on a 2-inch blade is the point of the Mini Tuff Lite. It is a very small knife with a lock built for far larger ones.

The blade has a wharncliffe-style straight edge, so the whole length stays in contact with material through a cut. Griv-Ex is a glass-reinforced polymer, stiff and light, and red makes the knife easy to spot in a pack or a drawer. Explore more Folding Knives.
