CoastKey Basic Twin Mercury Keyless Ignition System

The CoastKey Basic keyless ignition system gives keyless start and stop control for a compatible twin Mercury engine installation. A helm-mounted start panel replaces the need to use a conventional ignition key, giving authorized operators access through the system's electronic controls.

The Basic package uses a PIN code entered at the start panel to unlock the boat, allowing multiple authorized users to share access without carrying separate ignition keys. The control box and associated cables integrate the panel with the compatible engine ignition system, keeping access management centered on the electronic interface.

Confirm Mercury engine compatibility, twin-engine configuration, existing ignition wiring, helm-panel mounting space, control-box location, and supplied harness requirements before installation. Follow CoastKey commissioning procedures for pairing, PIN setup, safety functions, and engine integration. Test start, stop, and every included wireless or safety function before leaving the dock.
