The Burris Veracity is a 3-15x44mm second focal plane rifle scope with a Fiber Dot Plex illuminated reticle and a 30mm main tube, in matte black.
The Fiber Dot uses a fiber optic strand to gather ambient light and illuminate the aiming point, so the dot brightens in daylight and dims at dusk without a battery or a switch. That is the opposite of a battery-lit reticle, which is brightest when it is least needed and flat when it matters.
Veracity sits above the Fullfield in the Burris range, with better glass and a 30mm tube giving more internal elevation adjustment for longer shooting.
