The Burris Signature Zee Rings are medium-height steel rings for 1 inch scopes on Weaver-style bases, in a gloss finish. They combine the Zee ring's cross-slot interface with Burris Pos-Align inserts. That protects the scope while holding it securely.
Burris Pos-Align inserts center the scope inside the rings and increase contact with the tube, so the rings don't need lapping. Offset inserts can also correct alignment or add cant. The polymer inserts help prevent ring marks on the scope finish. This is the 1 in configuration, so use that measurement when comparing it with the part or space it is intended to fit.
The self-centering inserts compensate for small misalignments between the rifle, base and rings. Ring height should give the objective bell clearance over the barrel while keeping the scope as low as possible for a solid cheek weld.
