Bulldog Ultra Compact 29 in Black Rifle Case

The Bulldog Ultra Compact 29 in Black Rifle Case is a 29 in discreet case for an AR-style rifle with the upper and lower separated, or for a takedown rifle. It uses 2.5 in of soft padding and a laminated tricot lining that is heat resistant and will not stick to barrels. Its short length looks like a gear bag rather than a gun case.

A padded divider separates the upper receiver, lower receiver and optic so they do not knock together. Two internal magazine pouches keep spare magazines with the rifle. A full-length heavy-duty zipper opens the case, and wrap-around handles give it a balanced carry point.

Separating the upper from the lower lets a standard AR fit a case this short, so it stores in a trunk, under a bed or on a closet shelf. The case also works for takedown .22 rifles and survival rifles that break down to a similar size. For an assembled rifle, see the longer cases in our firearm cases and range bags section.

• The padded divider keeps the upper and lower from scratching each other.
• Internal mag pouches keep ammunition with the rifle in one bag.
• The compact size draws less attention than a full-length rifle case.
• Wrap-around handles make it easy to grab and go.
