Bulldog Standard Tactical 38 in Black Rifle Case

The Bulldog Standard Tactical 38 in Black Rifle Case is the simplest case in the BDT line, made of heavy-duty black nylon. A quilted lining protects the rifle, and Velcro tie-downs strap it in place. It holds one rifle and skips the extra compartments of the deluxe models. That keeps it light and affordable.

One large front pocket carries magazines, ear protection, and a small cleaning kit. A padded shoulder strap makes it comfortable to carry from the truck. The tie-downs stop the rifle from sliding to the bottom when the case is carried upright. The zipper opens the full length of the case. The quilted lining also cushions the optic.

At 38 inches, it takes a rifle of up to about 36 inches. Carbines, AR pistols, and short-barreled rifles fit well. Measure your rifle with the stock extended and any muzzle device attached. It is a good first case for a carbine or a backup case for a second rifle. The deluxe BDT cases, with lockable zippers and more pockets, are in our firearm cases and range bags.
