Bulldog Rapid Release 1911 Right-Hand Paddle Holster

The Bulldog Rapid Release 1911 Paddle Holster is a right-hand outside-the-waistband holster molded for the Commander-size 1911. The rigid polymer body is gun-specific, so a Commander 1911 sits snug without a loose universal pouch. Commander-size 1911s have a 4.25-inch barrel, shorter than the 5-inch Government model. The black finish matches most belts and mag pouches.

The Rapid Release lock gives Level 2 retention, and the pistol stays locked until you press the release. The release sits where your trigger finger lands during a normal draw. The holster adjusts to several positions, so you can set the carry angle and ride height. Polymer resists moisture and does not need breaking in like leather.

The paddle grips the belt from inside the waistband, so it goes on and off in seconds. Check your barrel length before ordering, since a full-size Government 1911 will not fit. A sturdy gun belt keeps a paddle holster from tipping outward under the weight of a steel 1911. It is a right-hand holster only. Holsters for other pistols are in our gun holsters.
