Bulldog 52 x 6 in Black Oversize Rifle Gun Sock

The Bulldog 52 x 6 in Black Oversize Rifle Gun Sock is a thick knit nylon sleeve made to store one scoped long gun. The fabric is silicone treated to resist moisture, which helps guard the steel against rust and corrosion while the rifle sits in the safe. The oversize 6 in width gives a rifle with a mounted optic room to slide in without stretching the knit.

A gun sock is built for long-term storage rather than padded transport. Slipping one over each rifle keeps stocks, barrels and scopes from rubbing against each other when several guns share a safe. The knit also keeps dust off the finish between seasons and lets air move around the gun better than a sealed case.

At 52 in long, the sock covers most full-length hunting rifles from muzzle to buttstock. When it is empty it folds flat and takes almost no space on a shelf or in a drawer. For trips to the range or deer camp, pair it with a padded case from our firearm cases and range bags section.

• Silicone-treated knit helps keep moisture off the metal during months of safe storage.
• The extra width lets you store the rifle with the scope still mounted and zeroed.
• Separate sleeves stop rifles from scuffing each other in a crowded safe.
• It folds flat and out of the way while the rifle is out in the field.
