Bulldog Deluxe 48 in Black Soft Rifle Case

The Bulldog Deluxe 48 in Black Soft Rifle Case is the full-size rifle version of Bulldog's Deluxe series. It fits most hunting rifles with a 22 to 24-inch barrel and a scope. Its 1-3/4 inches of padding are covered by a soft brushed tricot lining. The shell is water-resistant nylon. Its wide cut leaves room for big scope turrets and a bolt handle.

The barrel end is reinforced with a leather cap, which keeps the case from wearing through where it touches the ground. An outside zippered pocket carries a box of ammunition and a sling. The full-length zipper lets you slide the rifle in without bending the case. Its tricot lining is laminated to the padding so it does not bunch up when the rifle slides in. The tricot lining keeps blued steel and wood stocks from getting marked.

A rifle of up to about 46 inches long will fit. It is a good everyday case for deer season. Wipe off mud and let the case dry open after a wet day so the padding stays fresh. Its leather end cap holds up where soft cases usually wear through first. Store the rifle out of the case for long periods so moisture does not build up against the metal. Shorter Deluxe cases are in our firearm cases and range bags.
