The Browning Rivet has a 3-inch black oxide coated D2 tool steel blade, a black stonewashed copper handle, an extended tang, a thumb stud and a pocket clip, closing to 4 inches.

Copper is the reason to look at this one. It is heavier than aluminum or G10, and it develops a patina with handling that darkens the low points and keeps the high points bright, so the knife looks different after a year than it did new. Stonewashing the copper black gives a starting point that patina then works against, rather than the bright orange a bare copper handle begins with.

D2 holds a working edge far longer than the budget stainless usual at this price, and it needs to be dried after it gets wet since it is only semi-stainless. At 4 inches closed the Rivet sits flat in a pocket despite the weight copper adds. Explore more Folding Knives.
