Bravo Concealment S&W M&P Full Size Right-Hand IWB Holster

The Bravo Concealment Torsion S&W M&P Full Size IWB Holster (BC20-1017) is a right-hand inside-the-waistband holster for the Smith & Wesson M&P 9 and M&P 40 full-size pistols. With a 4.25-inch barrel and a full grip, the M&P is a large pistol to carry inside the waistband. That is exactly where the Torsion design helps, because the grip is the hardest part of a full-size gun to hide. The M&P's interchangeable backstraps do not affect holster fit. Many people carry a full-size M&P because the longer grip and sight radius make it easier to shoot well.

Torsion rotates the holster about 10 degrees inward, so the grip tilts in toward your side. The result is a full-size pistol that prints much less than it would in a straight IWB holster. Bravo uses 3-D scans of the pistol to build its molds, holding a fit of about three thousandths of an inch, so the gun clicks in and stays locked in place. The rigid polymer shell keeps its shape after the draw for safe, one-handed reholstering. Since the shell is made for this one pistol, it adds very little bulk around the slide.

Retention is adjustable with a single screw, and multiple mounting holes let you change ride height and carry angle. Two molded clips hold it on the belt, and removing the smaller clip makes it tuckable. A full-size pistol carries best at 4 o'clock with a stiff gun belt. It is cut to clear a red dot on M&P Optics Ready models. Wear it with an undershirt between the holster and your skin for extra comfort in hot weather. Check the screws periodically, since they can loosen with daily wear. Try a slightly higher ride height if you find the long grip hard to reach. The M&P BCA OWB and light-bearing holsters are in our gun holsters.
